The Woman Behind the Work

Hi. I'm Alexis.

Founder & Owner-Operator — That One Cleaning Lady™

I built this business because I believe your home deserves better than a surface wipe and a rushed exit. I saw a gap between what clients were paying for and what they were actually getting — and I closed it.

Not a franchise. Not a crew. Just me, in your home, holding every detail to a standard I built from the ground up and hold to every single time.

The Story

Most people have never had their home actually cleaned.

They've had their surfaces cleaned. Their floors vacuumed. Maybe their appliance faces wiped down. And for a while, it looks fine — until you run a finger along the baseboard. Or look up at a light fixture. Or notice the grime lining a window track that hasn't been touched since move-in.

That's not a clean house. That's the appearance of one.

People in this industry can be lazy. I'll say it plainly. Corners get skipped. Things get cleaned around instead of moved. Attachments stay in the bag. And clients keep paying, assuming this is just what clean looks like — because they don't know any different.

I started That One Cleaning Lady™ because I knew there was a better way, and because the families and professionals who invest in a premium service deserve to actually get one. So I built a methodology around doing it right. I called it Code Red.

The Methodology

What is Code Red?

Yes — it's a little bit about the hair. ๐Ÿ”ด

OSHA Compliant
ISSA Standards

Code Red is named for two things: the highest level of alert in emergency response — where nothing gets overlooked and every detail matters — and yes, for the red-haired woman who holds it.

It's grounded in OSHA and ISSA guidelines: the same frameworks that govern professional sanitation environments. That means the products I use, the order I work in, and the processes I follow aren't based on habit or guesswork. They're based on a standard.

When I walk into your home under Code Red, nothing gets assumed, skipped, or cleaned around. Everything gets done.

What actually gets done.

The things that separate a real clean from a surface wipe. These aren't extras — under Code Red, they're the standard.

Things get moved

Items lifted, cleaned under, and replaced. Not cleaned around. Every time.

Interior windows

Streak-free glass detailing plus track purification — not just a wipe of the frame.

Light fixtures

Dusted and wiped down. The ones everyone ignores until they can't anymore.

Baseboards & trim

Hand-washed and detailed. Door frames, window sills, all of it — not skipped.

Cabinet exteriors

Degreased and polished — especially in the kitchen where it actually matters.

The right tool for every job

Attachments used, not optional. The right product on the right surface, every time.

OSHA Compliant Methodology
ISSA Professional Standards
Discreet & Trustworthy
